The Sleep Journey at Forest Springs Dentistry

  1. Set Your Goal: Dr. Reddy will assess what you’d like to fix. Airway improvements can help with sleep apnea, hypertension, ringing of the ears, TMD problems and many more things. After he gets a clear understanding of what you’d like to improve he will get to work on addressing your concerns.
  2. Sleep Ring: We screen for sleep apnea using a sleepimage ring that measures your blood oxygen saturation while sleeping. Dr. Reddy always recommends seeing your MD for an in-lab sleep study but sleep rings are a viable and more convenient alternative to monitor progress with your airway journey.
  3. CBCT Imaging and Photography: Sleep disordered breathing is usually caused by some sort of obstruction in your airway. Identifying where the obstruction might be is key to predicting success with various treatment modalities
  4. Reviewing Your Report: Dr. Reddy talks with various MDs, orthodontists, radiologists, myofunctional therapists, chiropractors and other dentists and generates a report to help you see your airway more clearly. He will then recommend solutions for the issues you’d like to address.
